There's Snow Business...

What a weekend - beautiful snow fell in quantity, started Sunday afternoon and continued through yesterday. Went out in it last night a took many photos on a very slow exposure. Here's two of them, one of Janet's house and the other the recreation ground opposite.

Had a great walk around Powdermill Reservoir for the first time ever as well. Despite the fact I've been in the area for donkey's years, I'd never been there, but Janet bumped into someone in the street a few days back who told her about it. Went there to investigate, and hey presto, there it was. Another walk to add to the list.

Finished off with a very nice pint of Harvey's at the Queen's Head on Sedlescombe village green, in front of a roaring log fire.

Ongoing painting - proving to be a bit more problematic than I had hoped. Lots of colours, and not really happy with the overall look so far, so much work to be done there. Perhaps the exhibition/auction at the Arts-Forum is optimistic, and these should be saved for the RBA exhibition in London in March(?).

Watching Rory Bremner on Who Am I? on the Beeb last night - he was at Woking Crematorium, speaking to the archivist there, whose name is Di Stiff (yes, really). Nice!!
