We had a very lovely new years eve and 1st of January at Pete & Lucy's house in Canterbury - I think we've been there for the last 3 years. There was me & J, Pete & Lucy, Robin, Ri and Ri's daughter Courtney, plus dogs Maisy and Otis' old best buddy Elmo. Anyway, much food (smoked salmon and spatchcocked chicken), lovely wine (French and New World), a good night's sleep and a lovely next day eating croissants and drinking coffee watching Wall-E on the telly. Really good fun.
I was shown a website called 750 words, which is a kind of incentive to do some writing - you log on, write 750 words or more about anything and nothing, and get statistics that tell you how quickly you did it, how many word, what your mood was etc etc. All very interesting - I therefore started it myself on 4th Jan and have so far done a week of writing - over 4,000 words so far. Excellent..
