Caught Jools Holland last night - some good music, especially 2 songs played by Rokia Traore who has a great voice and a great backing band, and Madeleine Peyroux who can also sing beautifully, although in a less dynamic, more arty way, and can play guitar very nicely - she was accompanied by a brilliant guitar player so at ease with his skill that it was a wonder to watch.
Joe Bonamassa was good in a rock/bluesy kind of way, the Doves and Grandmaster Flash were ok, so was Marianne Faithful and the Noisettes were entertaining but crap.
