We've nearly finished doing the drum parts for the White Horse album. It's a tricky old thing, recording, and it's amazing how much "red light fever" grabs even old fogies like me. You just tense up and do things wrong that you'd never do under normal circumstances - so I have new-found admiration for the pro's. I think we (Drumfire) aquitted ourselves reasonably well, and had a good time to boot. It was nice to meet Jeff Beck and his wife Sandra - they were great, generous hosts (Jeff went out to buy milk for our tea!!) and have an astonishingly beautiful house - studio in the roof. Lovely guitars everywhere, so we felt right at home and only a little awe-struck.
Just have to go in on Wedenesday evening to finish off and then it's down to poor Dave, the engineer/producer to make some sense of it through Pro-Tools. Looking forward to hearing the finished product.
