Now sadly back from our autumn break down in sunny Devon - always nice to visit the area, having been (briefly!!) to Exeter University THIRTY BLOODY YEARS AGO!!!!!
Had a few days on a nice campsite called Little Meadow between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin on the north coast, then drove down to Totnes for a further few days there - did a nice boat-trip like old folks down the Dart to Dartmouth, lots of walking, sketching and, as usual, drinking of tequila, wine, beer and surprisingly no scrumpy. The dog loves it, after his usual sulking on the journey and we all had a really nice time.
Read the new Dan Brown book - good start and middle, dull end. Also enjoyed looking at the boats on the Dart - little and big, made me think I could do some sailing again.
