Greatly enjoyed the Bat for Lashes gig at the De La Warr Pavillion recently - she was impressive, so was the band. Played a set of her own stuff to start with and then, after a quick interval, came back with a string quartet and played some well arranged covers, ending with Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel.
Now looking forward to Sweet Billy Pilgrim and the Portico Quartet next Friday.
Bumped into Mike, Selena and Paul at the gig and went back to theirs after for a chat and some beer. Very nice.
