Had a lovely walk over the weekend at Bodiam - there's a circular route we do from time to time along the river and then back via a water pumping station and a well made path back to the Castle for either tea or beer, depending on the time. The dog loves it there and is always chasing rabbits and squirrels, or just running. This weekend, after all the rain, the river was flooded and although it had dropped by a meter or so, was still way over where it would normally be. It was a beautiful sunset with venus high in the evening sky and watching the reddening colours over the flooded river was a sight to behold.
